I have a 1991 js440 and am not getting spark. I purchased the ski like this and realized that the stator had been chewed up. I purchased a used stator and am getting power out of it but still no spark. There are five wires coming out of the stator and I am only getting power out of two. I think I should be getting power out of three at least but not sure. There is a red wire, black wire, grey wire, and two yellow-grey wires. I am getting power out of the two yellow-grey wires. The ski did run before the stator got chewed up. Also, I have made sure that all of the solders are good but there is a couple of strands of wire that were soldered on the stator bracket on the chewed up stator that were not soldered on the used stator. Could this be the problem?
