2001 kawasaki 1100/blown engine

i have a 2001 kawasaki 1100 with a thrown rod in the motor, now my question is, will i have to replace the whole motor, or just the block. and will i have to get the exact same engine? and also, does anybody know where maybe i can find a motor for this jet ski so that i can get it back up and running

Yes you have to put the same engine back in.

ok, i don't hardly crap about motors, so exactly what will I need to buy in order to get my jet ski up and running?

You need an engine exchange, or need to find a good used engine to drop in, or need to rebuild it all yourself.
