the ski has been sitting for 1 year and but he pickled the motor before he put it up I'm sure it needs a carb rebuild. but here is the question the cdi box is toast so it wont even try to turn over but he says if you take the shaft and turn it you can feel compression on both spark plug holes. can i run a jumper from a battery to the starter directly to check for compression? or would this be a bad thing? the ski looks pretty good considering its age and it is only 500 bux i just figured i could relive my younger x2 years now that I'm 35 its been 15 years since i rode a x2 back in the day i was good !
any other things i should think of doing before i buy it
cdi box is like 100 on eBay or less
600 seems like a deal for a x2 if i can get it going
