Hey Guys,
New to PWC. Veteran in the ATV, Sled world.
I just picked up this ski last week. Great shape with a new SBT engine. (Forgot to put the drain plug back in). Previous owner ran the break-in oil thru it 2 summers ago. It sat winterized last season. We ran it before I bought it, so I know it runs. Smoked like crazy, and it idled pretty high. I have not had it in the water yet. I figured I would change the plugs once I ran all the heavy oil mixture out of it. Couple Q's before I take it out.
1) The oil pump is disconnected. Recomendation on oil choice?
2) He said it had a slight hesitation on take off. Carb sync?
3) Anything I need to be looking for or be concerned with before I find myself paddling back to the trailer?
4) Because it's been switched to pre-mix...fuel filter recomendation?
