JS440 Crankshaft

I just recieved a 89 JS440 for free which is awesome.
However, I belive i have a shattered bearing on one of my connecting rods. I have to change but have some questions. Do i have to split the bottom end? Is there a bottom end gasket? Where can i purchase the bearing and other parts that i need? Is there anything special i should know when doing this such as removing the fly wheel or replacing seals?

Purchase a factory manual if you plan on doing this job. crank shaft and all seals will have to be replaced, manual will descride crank case sealants and how to re assemble motor.
