  • Engine VIbration

I just had my short block rebuilt and I somehow figured how to install it myself in my 2000 ultra 150. It has been broken and not in the water for over 3 years. While the block was sent out for repair I lost most of the other parts so I had to locate most of them on ebay used (carbs, flame arrestor, reeds, oil tank, new oil pump, etc) To make a long story short I got everything back in and the engine started but it vibrates a lot. It vibrates without the jet pump installed so I don't think it is because of alignment problems because the coupler isn't connected. Could it be the reeds (I bought them used on ebay and I don't remember what they look like or what they look like if they are bad) What can I do to troubleshoot this?

    Thanks
    Paul

Counter balancer may not be in time.

Thanks, I will try that. Can you give me some pointers as to how to fix.
Is it something a novice can do..

The Re builder might have the balancer a tooth or two off, the flywheel has to be removed to see if the marks are in line on the gears.
