Hole in 750 zxi exhaust

After I put the prop back in my zxi I cranked it up and it ran for about 5 minutes and then I noticed water was standing in my hull. After looking for a second I noticed the exhaust where it leaves the manifold and bends down into the muffler was spewing water out. I felt around and there is a little hole. Any ideas how it got there and/or how to fix it. I am thinking of removing it and having it welded.

Could have corroded from the inside out. Like you said take it apart and have it welded.
