95 kawasaki 900 zxi wont start

i changed the battery pulgs are good, someone looked and told me that my drive shaft was frozen in place. im new to working on these and am unsure what to do next.At this point i cant get it to even turn over the lights come on for a minute but when i try to start it, it jsut clicks.

pull the jet pump out and inspect the impeller and wear ring.
