2000 STX100DI, overheat?

This ski runs perfect until heats up, then it gets a CK ENG and VOLT indication.. DFI tells me its not computer but a sensor or clog, I flushed all the hoses that go thru stator and EMM.... any ideas what the VOLT indicator tells me, KAW dealer doesnt sound very confident in their ability to figure this out and dont want them throwing on parts I dont need.

Volt might indicate a dead cell in your battery.
