okay, I bought a 85 550 standup, never rode one before, just sitdowns, and dirt bikes and skateboards and surfboards. Anyway it sounds great out of the water, in the water with me kneeling on it it doesnt seem to get up to full speed, or at least it feels like it needs a bit more speed in order for me to ride it well. I did manage to get up on it twice, but still it feels like if it was a bit faster it would be easier and more stable. I weigh 240lbs, is the 550 too little for me or might mine just be tierd or not tunned correctly?
