OK....I have a 87 JS550, Last summer I bought a re manufactured engine from SBT installed it and the ski has no power at all. I broke it in at the end of last summer then gave up on it. Now summer is here again and I want my ski to work. Does anyone know what the problem could be? Any help would be great.

I assume it's a stand up, with the engine cover on if there is an exaust leak it will NOT have any power, the engine will not run on exaust for air, take the cover off and see how it runs, if ok, fix your exaust leak,,,tg :)
DON'T turn it over without the cover on
check all fuel filters carb included and have new fuel, there may be a filter in the carb, they can plug up with gunk,,
nothing in the pump, no rope or weeds etc. -
