Not sure what the problem is ultra 150

Hello to all, here is my problem i was out riding my 2000 ultra 150 and after about 2 hours it shut off.I tried to turn it back on and just heard a clicking noise from the starter silinoid. I checked the battery and it is fine also i purchased a new starter and starter cable and battery to silinoid cable new. Now when the engine cranks it will crank for a few seconds about 5 and then i hear the clicking noise from the silinoid again.And also the starter is getting hot so i would have to let it cool down before i attempt to crank again. Any input would help thanks.:(

How old is the battery?

The battery is about a month old i took it back to the kawasaki dealer and they told me the battery was fine.
