If the Solenoid is clicking and the starter is getting hot when i press the Start button and I can turn the shaft which means the engine isn't locked up. What might be the reason for the jet not to start. I ran it for an hour last weekend and it wouldn't reach top speed but I only assumed it was because it had been sitting for a year without being touched. I only assumed the carbs were cloggged. When I went to start the jet ski to load it on the trailer it would not start. I tried tapping the starter but I got nothing. Now mind you that the starter was replaced last year by a repair shop. I called them but they told me the warranty was only for six months.
