New SBT motor. Using Yamalube W2 oil with 20 oz of break-in oil in the fuel tank. Original engine suffered catastropic failure on cyl #2 due to a broken oil line. I am sure the oil cable is adjusted properly but it is oil fouling the plugs in less than 5 minutes. The carbs are all clean. Do the oil pumps ever fail in a wide-open position??? Is there another oil pump from the wrong boat that could have been installed sometime in it's past?? Should I not have used the break-in oil? Any suggestions would be appreciated.
