98 kawi 1100zxi won't turnover

already checked battery etc. etc. what I need to know is there a way to check the relay as it just clicks once when start button is pushed. I have the cover off electrical box and you can feel it when you push the start button. I think this maybe the problem. If someone has another idea please chime in with it, I need to get this going, grandkids coming for weekend. Thanks for any help with this.
