95 Kaw 900zxi Won't start after sitting

95 Kaw 900zxi just fixed carbs and a rings. Will start and run great if we put gas in carb to start. And will restart if we turn off and try to restart. But will not start once it sits or we get it down to the lake. It turns over good, but no fuel getting to the carbs? I read about the same problem on another forum for a 650sx, and their suggestion was that there is a check valve in a line off the fuel tap assembly. But I can not find the check valve on mine and I have three lines, they talked about having 4 lines. Two lines go to the carb and one that goes up into the console. Anyone know if I am on the right track for my problem? And how to resolve?

The carbs are not staying primed, check the fuel pump and if you still have issues run a direct line from the fuel tank to the carbs and see what happens.
