1100 zxi affordable mods

Hello,

I have a 02 zxi 1100 with the CV carbs. I also have a solas prop on it and I dont know what the pitch on it is. I dont want to cut the grate out cause I ride in the Delaware river and Im affraid of sucking up a rock or something. I have installed a nozzel extender. Any other mods that wont break the bank?

Try an aftermarket ride plate.

does your zxi with the cv carbs hesitate when you nail it from a idle? to meet epa they put these carbs on and run lean. i was wondering if the zxi's did this when new?
