  • 750sx piston ring size

I have a 92 750sx that i recently bought. The engine had not been run in while so I pulled it apart to reseal the motor. When I was putting the top end back on I cracked a ring. I'm pretty sure the motor does not have the stock bore. The only markings on the piston are "100" on the top center of the piston. Does this mean its bored over? What size would this be? Any help would be great so I get a new set of rings and get this thing on the water!

sounds like 1mm over bore see who's piston it is so you can get the correct rings for it. What name or markings are on the piston?

thanks for the response. I dont see any brand markings on the piston. i'm assuming its an oem replacement. it does not look like anything performance. are there any symbols or markings that i should be looking for? where would they be?

sounds like O.E. pistons that are 1 over, you will need to get O.E. rings, Not aftermarket
