2003 stx-12f surges and stalls

Just bought 2 2003 kawasaki stx 12-f pwc The first one runs great. The second one had a plastic valve on the top of the motor that was melted down. The valve pulls vacume from the throttle plate assy and has 2 hoses that go into the top of the valve cover. I replaced the valve, fuel filter and spark plugs. I cleaned the throttle plate and what looks like a idle air control motor/valve on the side of the throttle body. I ran it with the air cleaner on and off. If I hold the throttle at 1500 RPMS and up the motor seems to surge around 500 to 1000 rpms.It will also stall when coming off of higher rpms. It also seems to be running a little hotter then the other ski. Only 160 hours and I got it from the military. Looks clean and serviced PLEASE HELP

You may have to bring it to the dealer to have things calibrated through the Kawasaki scan tool, tps and throttle stop may need to be re-set.
