1996 900zxi trim box

My trim stopped working and we determined it to be in the trim box.got motor working again but as soon as we plug the gauge in it stops going up and down fully.Am looking to buy a used trim box off ebay but unsure what years and models are compatible.will one from a 750 work?or an 1100?thanks

All these units use the same housing to contain the trim motor so they should all interchange, some connectors may need changing out.

wow that's awesome thank you very much.actually was thinking more along the lines of changing the entire trim box out for a used one..wondering which trim boxes would just bolt in.we got motor working and the trim going all the way up and all the way down but as soon as we plugged in gauge it stopped working preoperly. thanks again
