  • 650 sx no go

i just put a sbt motor in a free 91 650 sx got it all put together started right up seemed fine. took it too the lake and it idols fine cracks off low good but only makes enough power to drag me around on my belly. I started with the carb at what I found to be stock 1 out on the low 5/8 on the high new motor didnt want to lean it out so dragged around for a while . ended up @ 1/4 on the high and back@ 1 on the low . no real change . so Im going to rebuild the carb, any body have set up tips for jetting and pop off pressure that might suit my need. I live and ride @ 6500 ft above sea level. ps im mechanically inclined but never rode a jet ski

Post over at pwctoday.com in the Kawasaki area some one may have jetting specs for the higher altitude.
