This is not for the faint of heart or those with limited parts access.
900cc ZXI style engine into a 1100 cc screamer.
Parts needed
1- 1100cc Cylinder Assy
3- XI-750 Pistons & Rings
These pistons are roughly 7mm larger than stock.
Open crankase to accept Cylinder Assy and clear pistons.
Zero Deck the Cylinders to the pistons.
Set the sqish clearance to a minimum of .032"
Open Carb jets as needed.
This boat ran 3 years on ONE set of plugs, we kept checking them and they never fouled or burned.
The factory tachometer would bury out, an add on tach indicated some 7,400 as best as I remember.
The owner was more interested in accelleration than top end speed which was 59.8 in water that was not perfect for full speed runs(large waves at odd intervals)
Just food for thought, I know some of us have more access to junk than cash
