  • Kaw 750 SS xi power loss after 30 min.

It runs great for 30 min or so, Then it start's to loose power.

If it is held wot it is fine,But if you go to a lower rpm & try to get back to speed There is no power.

If it is let to cool off totally, the same thing.

    The carbs are rebuilt.
    Good comp.
    good spark.
    tank vent works.

Do case leaks behave this way ? (loos power after it has been run good)

    Any Ideas ?

I think you need a new stator - it may be getting heat-soaked.

It's your iginition coils that produce spark, not the stator. The stator controls the timing of the spark and generates the AC power - I've seen stators throw off timing when they get hot.

It could also be the carbs getting heat soaked - you have all your intake gaskets on right?
