i have dumb question is the fuel pump kit part number 35-301 from sbt the upgrade for the bad fuelpumps on the sl750s thanks

yes it is, it is an addition to the original fuel pump and supplies fuel to the #1 cylinder.

I like this solution better.

I put the Mikuni #DF52-92 (three outlet) pump on my SLT 750. It seems to work just fine and it wasn't too terribly difficult to install. It bolted right onto the existing mounting bracket.
