    Yet more questions!
My 1994 SL750 has 125 psi in all three heads.
Is this high for a craft with 184 hours on it?
Could carbon buildup be the cause of the #'s?
If it was at... say 100 psi but equal in all, would this be a good indicator of "rebuild time"?
And one more... well two, is it a good idea, to spray a carbon remover into the carbs to help remove build up?
And last one! Should we use a new post for each new Question?

DO NOT spray ANY 'cleaners' into a 2 stroke unless you want an immediate scrap engine!

125 is stock. If you had a 10% drop it would be time to rebuild.

Carbon buildup is not an issue with PWCs at all. Compression does not go up with time, it drops after damage.

Is foging spray a type of cleaner, water remover/fine oil?

        just not as harsh?
        Thanks

Completely the opposite - who told you oils are 'harsh'??

motor tuner for outboards works very well to keep carbon from forming and sticking rings , it should be used in the spring startup . also cleans raves and power valves :-) its a cleaner that is also a lube so you will not damage anything . i have used it for years it works great . its also for 4 strokes .

Anyone familiar with and/or used "SeaFoam"? Plusses/minuses on this product? The can says its ok for 2-cycles and 4-cycles both.

Just seems like if you could use something that would prevent possible varnish buildup in the carbs you could run them a lot longer (of course if dirt gets in you're rebuilding anyway).

                Re: Compression high's and low's

Polaris has a carbon cleaner fuel additive that you mix one bottle to a full fuel tank if you are worried about carbon build up. A cap full in an old weed wacker is like giving it a tune up.

I have been putting fuel stablizer in my 1995 SL750 at the end of every season since 1995. I change my fuel filter every other year and I have never had to rebuild or clean my carbs yet. I just ride it with the stablizer and top the tank off so there is less room for air and condensation in the tank.

From what I hear I'm lucky my fuel gage lasted 9 years, Now I have to fix it!

I changed my MFD back when it was under warranty but I figure it has about 235 hours on the bottom end of the motor. A head gasket problem a few years back lead me to replacing the top end.
He who dies with the most toys Still dies! So have fun with them 1970 SS 396 Chevelle, 86 ATC 250R (RAD valve,K&N, FMF gold series, bandit XC's), 97 XLT600SP (SLP tripple pipes, reverse, EPI clutch kit), 95 SL750 (all the bolt on's) & 96 SLX
