Loose wire?. Also check for water in the electrical box. I had one where there was water in the electrical box but it did not short anything out until
being sloshed around by waves and sharp turns.

the box you are talking about is the one behind the motor were all the wires go to? and does it come apart easly.

        Re: Help

On a SL750 it was on top of the battery. Not sure on the SLT750.
I don't recall how to open it up. Check the easy stuff first - cables on
the battery, ground on the block, wire to the starter. Could be a short in the battery??
