2000 Polaris Virage Engine I.D. and MFD

Just bought this and am not quite sure where i.d. # is located and how to shut off MFD. The clock stays on, won't this drain the battery?

this will drain battery if left hooked up over the winter but not if you run it every few weeks they don't draw enuff amps to drain the battery in a few weeks unless it is bad or weak

in other words, correct storage. If going to be a while (more than a month) better to put on a charger or tender.

Can you tell me where exactly is the serial number is, so I can see if this is one with the cdi problem
