  • '95 SL750 No Start

Ran well most of the day then just suddenly shut down and would not start!

No sputtering, just turned off completely, towed back in.

Seems to have no spark. Is there a standard testing/troubleshooting procedure that I can follow?

    Re: '95 SL750 No Start

One of my clients took out ski first day. (94 SL-750, fresh rebuild) Said he was doing a 360 and got thrown off the ski. Put the lanyard back in. Turns over, no fire. Had to tow back in. Brought to me the next day, I was suspisious about the lanyard. I applied outward pressure on the kill switch while cranking and fired right off. After getting it started, it would start and stop without applying any extra pull on the kill switch.

Anyone else ever have a kill switch prob? Or is there a specifcally thicker lanyard for Polaris?
