  • Polaris SL-series (SLX, SLH, SLXH) seat interchange?

I've got a 98 SLXH. After riding this weekend, I noticed that the front seat was hard to get off. I notice cracking on the seat.
    Get it home and disassemble:
The front seat is cracked along all of rubber mount points (where it contacts the hull) - it's completely cracked where the latch is. Latch will no longer stay on..

Rear seat has some cracking too, mainly along the sides, easy to snag stuff on it.

Q: Will seats from the SL-family interchange? It's very difficult to find an SLXH boat, let alone one that would be available for parts.

New seat.. Yea.. right.. 2 plastic frames run over $450 - without the covers!

I ran into some other posts indicating that there was a "recall" on this - but can't find a reference to it and don't believe it's a safety issue (unlike the hood) - might be a TSB?

Here's a photo of an SLX:

    And the SLH:
