  • Stainless steel stator

if I remeber right the newer ski have a stainless steel stator is this correct? and I'm wondering if those are the same size and will fit the older ski's, I have a 96 SL900 one of the aluminumn fins has a slight chunk missing, I'm sure its affecting some performance.

You can get the 6 vein stainless stators off of Polaris's site for $179 :) Yes they fit our 900's, yes, missing a fin chunk is hurting your performance! I missing multiple chunks from mine and it definitely hurts.

better low end and hookup thru the chop with the stainless stator, mebbe a little top end. f you really wanna make that thing scream, go for the stainless stator, bore the stock exit nozzle to 86mm and install an Adjust-A-Thrust. huge difference in lo enad and midrange, way better hookup in the chop and at least a mile an hour on top. those 900s can fly, get some good sponsons while yer at it, thats worth a half to a mile an hour thru the chop. ever been riding across the lake and felt the boat pull from side to side over the chop. thats those bigazz polaris sponson dropin anchor. every side to side twitch is scrubbin speed

Yeah I have sponsons from Chopper City Sports when they use to make parts for watercraft, Looks just like the Hotseat ones, heads are milled to run 92, waterbox, cylinders have a mild port with intake and exhasust manifold and beginning of the pipe, v force reeds, primmer kit is on it, and have a Chopper City flame arrestor cover, nu jet prop, use to have a skat till i sucked up a rock through my scoop grate, op ride plate, put on a finger throttle years ago , and a Hotseat CDI box. should go good haven't been on it in awhile trying to get everything running good again, have a 6 degree wedge too. I think the nu jet should give me a little on the top end compared to the skat.
