1994 SL650 No Start

Hi Guys,

This ski was runnig perfect, then I took it to the lake and dropped it into the water and it cranked and would idle. Moved it to the camp site and parked it for the night. Next morning no start. Change plugs no change in running. It seems like it is running out of fuel. If you pull the choke closed and spin it over you can feel air puffing from the rear carb. Any ideas??

sounds like your reeds are bad (backfire through carbs) but I wouldn't know why that would "just happen".

Are the reed valves hard to change??
