tried running my ski today, haven't rode it in 2 years, been going through and making sure everything works, new battery, new gas, went on the water and the thing idles great, but when i go to accelerate it sputters a little and no top end, if i accelerate slowly it goes okay no sputter put if i mash it down it has a hard time going up to 5500 rpm and nothing after that, it should spin close to 66-6700 rpm with all the work thats done, thats what it did 2 years ago. plugs look clean center one a little gray/ blackish the 2 end ones yellowish/ white, any idea's????

    Re: low rpm's

rebuild carbs is a must, perhaps even adding on the add-on fuel pump or upgrading to the better pump. After setting for 2 years, you'll be going through the carbs.

I have the factory fuel pump, what are some of the problems when they go bad?
