Auto cock valve

I've been reading a couple forums about a auto cock valve, and I'm not to sure what it is. I have a fuel pump on there now that supplies all clylinders individually. However, there is also one part of the fuel pump that connects to the bottom of the third cylinder. Is this a auto cock valve or is this something else. I have a 95 7501slt. thank you

That's probably the auto cock. about 1" in diameter and splices in between the fuel selector and the fuel pump input. It shares a mounting screw with the oem fuel pump.

when the engine is off (no vacuum from crankcase) the auto-cock will not allow pulse to go to the fuel pump and pump fuel. However, when the engine is off, there is no pulse coming from the crankcase anyway! Mine was bad, so I just bypassed it.
