  • fuel question

I have two questions. I am working on a 95 Polaris 780SLX. I'm getting no fuel to the carbs. It appears the fuel pump is bad. There are five lines for the pump - in, one each to three carbs, and one other line that goes to the bottom of the block. Is this correct?

Second, if it is the pump, is it easier/cheaper to repair or to replace.

    Thanks.

    Re: fuel question

Yeah, that is correct on the fuel pump, however I'm no help about the cost. I have never had mine go bad. I would first take it apart and see what is wrong with it. Then go to a place like partsland.com and look for that individual part. If you think the price is to high, go on ebay and look for a used one that works for cheap. Good luck
