ok ..so I hosed my motor. I have a few choices ...new crank, 2 new pistons and have the heads bored. $750.00 or so without shipping costs... Ok so I am leaning towards a new motor from SBT. So, I am wondering, will a 780 motor fit in there? would I need to put in new mouting plate and whatnot? Also, with the motor exchange with SBT, I just send them my hosed short block and pay them and they send me my new one? It looked like they wanted good parts in the motor..well that doesnt make much sense cause if it were good, I wouldn't be exchanging it. Anyway, any help would be appreciated.

No you can not change blocks nor do we do uneven exchanges.

I don't know what you mean by 'it looks like we want good parts in the motor' - we need the core back yes. You get the new block first, put the core in the box and FedEx picks it up.
