Flushing order.

I need to know the flushing order for my Polaris SLX, I have the manual on order but until then I want to make sure I do it right. Is it water on , engine run, water off,engine off or engine off first then water. Please enlighten me.

start the engine

turn on the water (it does not need to be on full blast)

turn off the water

goose the motor to get a little more water out

turn off the engine.
