i have a ac/dc multy meter 5 funtions what do i set it on to test to see if iam charging my meter reads 10 50 250 500 dc v other side 0.5 50 250 dc and bottom reads 10 50 250 500 acv what setting do i use to check to see if my battery is charging?

Are you serious???? Lets see, you are testing AT LEAST 12V....Gee,since 10 is less than 12, and 50 is more than 12, and the next higher scale on your meter, wouldn't you think that you need to use 50V DC???
