  • Test Procedures for Polaris 1200 Electrical

Does anyone know the procedures for testing the CDI, Coil and Stator for the 2000 -up 1200 models? A few of us are having problems locating resources.

    any help appreciated!

I have a new updated stator for that ski that I did not need $150.00 if you end up needing one.

As far as a test procedure the only thing you can do is mesure the resistance values per the service manual. I don't have one for that ski.

If all checks ok per resistance then you will have to replace each part one at a time until you find the problem. This will get rather expensive.

      Dank,

I appreciate it but I have one too. When I first purchased this ski, I thought the stator was bad. Turned out being a poor ground conection. Polaris doesn't like to take electrical parts back so I sat on it.

Please let me know if can locate the service info for that ski.
