  • slt 750 gauge cluster problems

    I dont understand, why when i have a full tank of gas an a quarter tank full of oil that my gauge is reading i have a quarter tank of gas an a full tank of oil. i just dont understand, an im pretty sure theres know way to cross the wires. If i need a new gauge how much will it cost?

    They can be crossed inside the electrical box. The oil is a blue wire and the fuel is a pink wire.

      alright ill have too look into that befor i go spendin $$$ on a new cluster. BTW how much is a new gauge cluster?

        Depending on where you get one from, they range from about $100 for a used one and anywhere between $200 and $300 for a new one...Defenitley sounds like your wires are crossed though....

              I own a sl700 hurricane, the petrol gauge doesnt work at all,

                I don't know what year/configuration etc you have but it looks like what I had to change. Go to http://www.sbtontheweb.com/forum/sho...ght=fuel+float

                Also , www.partsland.com for the issustrated parts breakdowns.And also do a search for "fuel float"
