engine alingement

I recently orderd an oil block off kit from SBT to mount on my slt 750. I had to take the motor out to install the plate. When i took the engine out i didnt not take the engine out of the cradel an i didnt remove the shims. My qeustion is do i have to worry about the alingment? Or can i just tighten things down??
