    I Have A 97 Polaris Sl700 Dxl And If I Take It Easy It Dont Over Heat But If I Open It Wide Open For 20 Sec. It Will Over Heat?
    Can Someone Help Me Solve This?

    I am having the same problem.Going to change the thermastat this week.

      i had the same problem---you need to remove the thermostat housing and clean out under the thermostat and remove the plastic spring loaded water regulator which is seated next to thermostst. that finned plastic plug should move freely in its hole. i think its a 3-16 allen wrench to remove housing which is under the plug wire blanks on the head coolant rail-----happy boating

      TIP OF THE DAY----dont suck up any sand in your machine while
      the thermostst is still closed---warm it up
      good before you beach it...

        thanks all i just took it out and the plunger and have no problems now
