I have a few questions

1. When I am going full throttle, I can only go 15mph max?

2. Is it normal for my spark plugs to always look really black when I replace them? I have heard that this is okay because they are 2 stroke, but not sure.

3. I have had to replace my solenoid valve (on both skis) already. Is that normal?

Check your compression, The solenoid valves fail often.

Yes, all of the FICHT injected skis look real sooty, they should not be oily, black dry sooty look. Did you check compression yet?

I took it to the dealer and they said it has no compression, and it may have a broken connecting rod and damaged cases. They said the labor alone to take everything apart and put it back is about $1,100. They are still under warranty and hopefully they are covered. How bad do you think this problem is?

Sounds serious, Did you ever suck water into the engine?

Not that I'm aware of. Also, I'm just wondering if you know how many gallons of gas the poalris Virage i holds? (Don't have my manual with me).
