I am needing help with a 1997 Polaris SLTX 1050. It sometimes can be ridden for a while, shut off, and when you go to restart it sometimes it acts as if the battery is dead. NOTHING!
Other times it cranks and cranks but refuses to start.
After pulling it back to the dock, you can hit the starter, in either case, and it will fire up and run.
My question is if there's a possibility of a coil going bad? Could there be something loose causing it to act up like this?
It does not quit when you are running down the lake.....although sometimes it has a miss in it. Even the miss goes away after some running down the lake.
