CDk2 Rebuild question

1. The CDK2 rebuild kit comes with 3 springs. I do not have a pop-off tester. I have a 99 SLTH 700 and the manual says to use a 70 gram spring. I used one of the springs that was the same size as the original. Is this ok?

You should check the pop-off pressure when rebuilding the carbs, dont assume that the size of the spring is the same as the original. Purchase a pop-off pressure tool to do the rebuild correctly.
