  • question on sbt oil block off plate

Hi, I am installing a #36-005 Oil block off plate from sbt. The label says its fits sea doo's and my polaris 700, so that part is good. Bad part is the nifty allen screws are too big, and there is no mention in the all "Seadoo" instructions on what to do on the Polaris slt700, 1996. I am guessing I reuse my old bolts, add some sealant to the plate to make it water tight, and use the black caps to cap off the oil lines at the carb, but I would like confirmation. thanks!

      FYI-
If you purchase the oil block off plate for a Yamaha GP1200R you will need to run to your local hardware store to purchase some shorter bolts. The reason for this is because the plate that SBT gives you is not a big as the plate that held the pump. I had to go from a 6x20mm bolt to a 6x12mm bolt.
