I pickup a slx780 and installed a battery to crank it over. I removed the sparkplugs and checked for spark. The first stroke of the engine I see one spark then nothing. I have the same results with all three cylinders. Could it be the cdi? or the stator and pickup.

If the battery does'nt have 10.5 cranking volts it will not fire the ignition. Check the battery for a min. of 10.5 cranking volts.SBT Tech Support is here to help with your problems.
