    gas tank removal

    Hi there-
    I just bought 1997 SLT780 and I have dirty gas in gas tank. My question is does anybody knows how to remove the tank from the ski, or at least how to clean it from dirt build up? I tried to move it but it looks like it is glued or......?????

    Its bolted in and a pain in the *** to take out, sometimes the bolts will snap off, the best way to remove it is to remove the engine 1st.

        Its hard to clean with out pulling the tank.
