Does Weight reduction help?

Does weight reduction help in the same sense as a car for speed and acceleration? If I drop some weight from the sl750, will it pick up speed even quicker than it already does? What can safely be taken off for wgt reduction?

I'm assuming a low tank of gas helps. And maybe take out the front storage bin. But what else?

Yes, it helps - but short of shaving your hull or swaping hull parts for carbon-fiber, there isn't much you can do to modify your weight significantly.
