have a 650 that is starved for fuel from idle thru midrange. runs ok wide open. think fuel pump is going out. have changed fuel filter and have opened main needle 1/4 turn. have to pull choke out slightly to get unit to accel. is this possible problem and how hard is it to change out pump and should your additional pump be installed at the same time?

Time to ditch the pump and replace it with one from a 780.
