  • Mikuni Carb Adjusting Screws?

Placed new regapped plugs into my SLT780 last Sunday and ran it a few hours fairly hard. I realize to do a proper plug chop one must pull plugs sooner, but kids got on it and took off. In looking at the plugs now they appear quite clean with only a little bit of color change on the ceramic insulator on the post. I'm looking to richen my mixture on my carbs but was wondering where are the proper screws to adjust, which direction to turn them and how much at first test? I figure they are runnuing lean even though the sled runs good. Am I wrong in trying this adjustment?

    Thanks , Michael

Each carb has two screws, a high and a low. The lows are mote towards the bottom of the carbs, and each are on opposite sides from one another. Turn them out in 1/8th turn increments and retest between adjustments to richen.
